High School Reunion Outfit Panic!

Apologies for not writing in so long. This thing called "work" took up a lot of my time over the last few weeks. Apparently, I need to be able to pay my "bills".

Fortunately, I have a new outfit dilemma for you dear readers, all three of you, to deliberate upon. My 20-year high school reunion is coming up in a few weeks, and of course, I need an outfit. But what should this outfit say? How can it sum up the last 20 years and convey what I need it to convey? Which is what exactly?

I need it to say:

• I turned out normal, despite how weird I was in high school.
• I'm moderately successful in a semi-creative field (as you can see my by use of accessories)
• I have had a child, but I am not currently pregnant
• I am (still trying to look) cool, just like back in high school

I've been thinking about a maxi dress or other forgiving silhouette, plus flat sandals and a great statement necklace. (I know, I know, I am SO predictable.)

Here are the contenders:

"It's an orange and brown sandwich," to quote myself.

{Late-breaking update}

• #4 was eliminated from the competition because the Sundance Catalog wanted to charge me $17 to ship ONE dress. Suck it, Robert Redford.
• #5 arrived this afternoon from Nordstrom and it's a delight! Cute and comfy! The belt helps define a waist, but the batwings still give you a little forgiving volume.
• I also ordered #6, J. Crew's Summerstock Maxi Dress in "Smoldering Brick", also known as "Orange" where I come from. I've got high hopes for this baby.

So whaddya think? Which one do you vote for? Bear in mind the elaborate criteria (pudgy mom trying to look cool), and cast your vote!


UPDATE: I went with #5. It was bascially a big brown sack, and 
while it may not have been figure-flattering, it did the trick. I see many weddings and funerals ahead for this dress.
